Presentations that Educate & Entertain

Iroquois Gardeners

The Iroquois had a deep knowledge of both wild and cultivated plants.  This talk will give you an appreciation for their horticultural expertise and you will learn about a particular plant that was as important to our local Native Americans as the buffalo was to the Plains Indian. Local settlers had good reason to be impressed with the agricultural talent of our local Haudenosaunee and you will be too!
